This set represents standard 56" x 27", 25-man life raft canisters as they appeared during the late Cold War-era.  These canisters were fit to cruisers, destroyers, fast frigates, cutters and auxiliaries, etc., such as ships of the Ticonderoga CG-47 class, Arleigh Burke DDG-51 class, Spruance DD-963 class, and Oliver Hazard Perry FFG-7 class.
