These models represents the standard 36-inch searchlight fit to most US Navy ships from the 1930s through 1960s.

This 3D-printed model's configuration is based on surviving searchights aboard the museum ships USS North Carolina BB-55 and USS Kidd DD-661.  It is consistent with searchlights seen in 1944 photos of USS Missouri BB-63.
 
This model does not include the operators' seats or pedals (too fine to print).  
 
This model is an original design made from measurements taken from an actual searchlight and high-resolution photos obtained from the National Archives.  It is not a 3D-printed copy of any plastic, resin or metal kit's parts and therefore may not be the same size and shape as other searchlight models found in kits.  Some adjustment to your kit's parts or other aftermarket parts such as photoetch may be necessary for best fit.
