This accurate and highly detailed model provides major components of the Bristol Beaufighter cockpit and intra-wing spar equipment bay/pilot hatch well. Although specific details differed considerably between aircraft in the field, features and instrumentation of this model best represent those of Beaufighter Mk.IF, NF Mk.I and Mk.II fighters with starboard side radio installation.
This 3D-printed cockpit model includes an accurately sized and highly detailed TR.9D radio model.
A cockpit for late war Beaufighter Mk.VI or TF Mk.X is available separately (click here).
A free assembly and painting guide is available in downloadabe *.pdf format in either A4 or 8.5" x 11" size.
The model does not include throttles and other similar levers (too fine to print). If desired, use scrap photo-etch brass or plastic to make your own throttles and levers.
Note: Supporting sprue removal, especially from the cockpit floor and intra-spar equipment bay is difficult. A very sharp cutting instrument such as a new cuticle clipper, and patient, careful cutting are required. During supporting sprue removal, the old saying, "slow and steady wins the race", applies. Remaining supporting sprue contact point "nubs" can be carefully scraped or cut away using a sharp hobby knife.
Instrument decals are not included with this 3D-printed cockpit. Click here for cockpit instrument decals from Airscale.

This model is not a 3D-printed copy of any plastic or resin kit's parts. Therefore, it is sized, shaped and detailed very differently than the parts in your Revell kit. Despite every effort being made to ensure a good fit to your Revell kit, some adjustment to your Revell kit's parts may be needed for best fit.
Please remove all locator tabs and raised details on the interior of the cockpit area of both fuselage halves of your Revell 1/32 scale Beaufighter kit before assembly. The Revell kit's locator tabs will interfere with 3D cockpit part fit. The Revell kit's raised detail is not accurate.
The Revell kit's pilot figure will not fit in the accurately scaled 3D-printed pilot seat. The Revell figure is too big.
If you need to clean these parts, mild dishwashing liquid in water or isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol is recommended. Do not use acetone. Acetone can melt 3D-printed plastic.
