These models represent the wingtip fuel tanks for Grumman F9F-2/3 Panther jet fighters.  The models were scaled from Grumman drawings which show that the real tanks were 113 inches (287 cm) long and 26 inches (66 cm) in diameter.
 
Large tabs are included to fit between the wing halves to assist in alignment.
 
These models are original designs.  They are not 3D-printed copies of any plastic, vacu-form or resin kit's parts and therefore are likely to be sized and shaped differently than the parts in your kit.  Some adjustment to your plastic, vacu-form or resin kit's parts may be necessary for best fit.
