The model is scaled to fit Trumpeter 1/32 scale Bf 109 F, G and K kits.  This spinner has slots sized for the Trumpeter kits' propeller shaft and propeller blades.  A model to fit Revell or Hasegawa Bf 109 kits is available separately.
 
Please compare the following dimensions to your kit to ensure that this model is a good match.
 
Dimensions:
Spinner baseplate outer diameter = 23.04 mm (0.907 inches).
Spinner baseplate hole diameter for propeller shaft = 3.65 mm (0.144 inches).  If necessary, shorten Trumpeter kit's propeller shaft part F3 for best fit.
Propeller hub slot diameter for propeller blades = 3.00 mm (0.118 inches).
 
​This model represents the spinner and propeller hub of the World War Two-era Messerschmitt Bf 109 F, Bf 109 G, and Bf 109 K fighter aircraft.  The model was designed from Messerschmitt factory drawings.
 
Many spinners fit to real Bf 109 fighters were supplied by subcontractors.  Surface details differed depending on the subcontractor's method of manufacture.  Therefore, spinners varied from aircraft to aircraft.  Three common spinner configurations are available.  For our purposes, the different available configurations are called "Type A", "Type B" and "Type C".  Check your references to know which is correct for the specific aircraft you are modeling.
 
The difference between types is two-fold: surface features and shape.
Type A: smoothest, rivet/spot-weld detail limited to the spinner base plate
Type B: considerable rivet/spot weld pattern, same shape as Type A
Type C: most surface detail.  The real spinner had a detachable cap around the cannon blast tube.  This feature is captured in the model.  Type C has a slightly different shape than Types A and B.  Type C is very slightly shorter exposing more of the blast tube although the blast tube itself is the same length as Types A and B.

Propeller blades are not included.  The slots in the propeller hub for propeller blades are 3.0 mm in diameter.
