This Aft, Lower Anti-aircraft Deck model helps convert your 1/350 USS Indianapolis CA-35 model kit to one of the US Navy's most decorated warships, sistership USS Portland CA-33, as she appeared during crucial Pacific battles fought during the summer of 1942, Coral Sea and Midway.
 
This deck has been designed to be adapted to any 1/350 USS Indianapolis kit.  Depending on which plastic kit you own, some modification to this part and/or the kit's parts will be necessary for best fit.

Features:
planked, cambered deck, extents matching photos of the actual ship.
integrated Mk.27 main battery fire control director, as it appeared before the addition of a rooftop radar antenna, with entrance vestibule and accurate 4-panel door.
accurately-shaped, asymmetrical splinter shielding (shields are not mirrored port and starboard).
slightly raised pedestals for 5"/25 cal. anti-aircraft mounts (mounts not included).
5"/25 cal. ready-service ammunition lockers with subtle, raised heat radiators.
5"/25 cal. ammunition hoists.
accurate, asymmetrical deck vents with proper rain deflectors.
raised whaleboat platform between service lockers and vents.
accurately shaped incinerator with ash doors and exhaust pipe.
raised 1.1" quadruple-gun "Chicago Piano" tubs with splinter shielding shape and rib details consistent with photos ("Chicago Piano" mounts not included).
