Recommended to help convert your Trumpeter 1/350 scale USS Lexington CV-2 kit of USS Saratoga CV-3 kit to Saratoga's 1943 appearance.
This model represents the bridge tower of celebrated aircraft carrier USS Saratoga CV-3 as she appeared from November, 1942 through 1943, during the invasion of Bouganville, attacks on the Japanese base at Rabaul, and the Gilbert and Marshall Islands Campaign.
The major difference between this version and the earlier 1942 version are:
- portholes have replaced windows on the Pilot House
- correct venturi (wind deflector) for 1943
