Bollards are 1 inch (25.4 mm) tall.

Set contains 10 bollards.

This set of models represents Royal Navy 18-pounder cannons converted for use as bollards.  After their military usefullness had passed, many cannons found a second life serving as protective and decorative bollards near buildings, as structural columns, as mooring posts on moles and at dockyards.  Often times, an over-size cannonball was hammered into the muzzle.

These models represent the long-pattern 18-pounder cannons fit to early 19th Century Royal Navy warships such as the 74-gun ship-of-the-line HMS Bellona and 38-gun frigate HMS Diana. Both Bellona and Diana carried 28 of these weapons.

Although there were minor variations among real cannons, these models' scaled dimensions and details match dimensions from tables published in "British Smooth-bore Artillery: a Technological Study to Support Identification, Acquisition, Restoration, Reproduction, and Interpretation of Artillery at National Historic Parks in Canada" by David McConnell.  Their details were matched to those of surviving cannon.
