This pair of models represents the 7 December 1941 appearance of the conspicuous fire control director positions known as "fighting tops" of Pennsylvania class battleships USS Arizona BB-39 and USS Pennsylvania BB-38, and Nevada class battleships USS Nevada BB-36 and USS Oklahoma BB-37.
Fighting tops of Tennessee class and Colorado class battleships were shaped differently. Models of those fighting tops are available separately.
