Recommended to help convert or accurize your Fujimi 1/700 scale USS Lexington CV-2 kit or convert your Trumpeter 1/700 scale USS Saratoga CV-3 kit to USS Lexington's 1928 appearance.
This model represents the bridge tower of celebrated aircraft carrier USS Lexington CV-2 as she appeared soon after commissioning in the summer of 1928. The island was in this configuration after the ship transited the Panama Canal to join Battle Fleet based at Long Beach, California. In June, 1928, she set a new speed record of 30 knots (34.5 miles per hour).
