Here is a downloadable scan of an official Royal Navy drawing of an 18-gun, 3-masted sloop.  The drawing was prepared by celebrated English naval architect Marmaduke Stalkartt dated 1 March 1781.  The drawing includes the outboard profile, hull body plan, and transom.
 
The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland.
