Here is a downloadable scan of official US Navy Booklet of General Plans drawings of the Des Moines-class heavy cruiser USS Newport News CA-148.  The drawings were prepared by Bethlehem Steel Company, Quincy, Massachusetts originally dated 7 January 1948, updated 8 March 1949.
 
This set of drawings includes inboard and outboard profile views and plan (overhead) views of the main deck, various superstructure decks and platforms.
 
The original scan was obtained by noted researcher and historian Rick E. Davis from the US National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland.
