Here is a downloadable scan of official Kriegsmarine (German Navy) drawings of the World War Two-era Deutschland-class heavy cruiser Admiral Graf Spee. This set of drawings was prepared by Kriegsmarinewerft, Wilhelmshaven, Germany and approved by Der Chef Der Konstruktionsabteilung, Berlin, Germany, dated 29 March 1933.

 

The drawings are labeled under the ship's original contract name, "Ersatz Braunschweig".  The ship's name was changed to Admiral Graf Spee prior to launch.

 

This set of drawings includes:

  • double bottom (doppelboden)
  • stowage plan (stauung)
  • lower platform deck (unteres plattformdeck)
  • upper platform deck (oberes plattformdeck)
  • armored and between deck (panzerdeck und zwischendeck)
  • upper deck (oberdeck)
  • superstructure deck (aufbaudeck)
  • deck houses & superstructures (deckhausdecken und aufbauten)
  • top view (obere ansicht)
  • inboard profile (längschnitt)
  • stern cross sections (hintere querschnitte)
  • forward cross sections (vordere querschnitte)

 

The original scan was obtained from the Bundesarchiv.
