Here is a downloadable scan of an official Kriegsmarine (German Navy) drawing of the World War Two-era Type II U-boat. This drawing was prepared by NV Ingenieurskantoor voor Scheepsbouw Den Haag, a Dutch dummy company set up by Germany after World War I in order to maintain and develop German submarine technology and to circumvent the limitations set by the Treaty of Versailles. The drawing is dated 12 March 1934. This drawing is a recovery plan showing profile and plan (overhead) views of the submarine.
The original scan was obtained from the Bundesarchiv and graciously made available to the public by "The Dreadnought Project", a naval history wiki focusing on the period 1880-1920.
