Here is a downloadable scan of official US Navy drawings of the Essex class aircraft carrier USS Hornet CVS-12 circa 1969.  The drawings are incomplete; they include only deck plans.
 
The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration and graciously made available to the public by the San Francisco Maritime National Park Association.
