Here is a downloadable scan of official US Navy drawings of the sloop-of-war USS Constellation 1854.  The drawing was prepared by Navy Yard Boston, Massachusetts dated July, 1853.  The scan shows the plan (overhead) view of the gun deck.
 
The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland.
