Here is a downloadable scan of official US Navy Booklet of General Plans drawings of the Essex class aircraft carrier USS Lexington CVA-16 originally prepared by Puget Sound Navy Yard, updated by New York Naval Shipyard, dated 5 March 1965.

 

This set of 3 drawings includes plan (overhead) views of the 3rd bottom, double bottom and 6 hull cross sections.

 

The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration and graciously made available to the public by Mr. Joseph Bonice.
