Here is a downloadable scan of official US Navy drawings of the ironclad monitor USS Monitor. The drawing is annotated as being drawn at Navy Yard, Brooklyn and "Ericsson letter Oct. 8th 1861". The scan shows an inboard profile view and plan (overhead) view.
The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland.
