Here is a downloadable scan of official US Navy drawings of the ironclad monitor USS Monitor.  The drawings were held by the US Navy Bureau of Ships from records of the 1862-1909 "Ship Design and Construction Drawings" files.  The scan shows an outboard profile view and plan (overhead) view.
 
The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland.
