Here is a downloadable scan of official US Navy drawings of the double-ended steamer USS Tallapoosa, 1863-1892.  Tallapoosa served as an interceptor of blockade runners and later a schoolship for midshipmen of the United States Naval Academy    The drawing was prepared by the Washington Navy Yard, Washington, D.C., dated May 1881.  The scan shows plan (overhead) views of two decks below the main deck.
 
The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland.
