Here is a downloadable scan of an official US Navy drawing of the 44-gun frigate USS United States circa 1817 as drawn by Charles Ware probably made at the Charlestown Navy Yard (later known as Boston Naval Shipyard). The drawing includes plan (overhead) views of several decks as well as gun arrangement and shot tray layout.
 
The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland.
