Here is a downloadable scan of official drawings of the steam screw frigate USS Wabash (1855).  The drawing was probably prepared by the ship's builder, Boston Navy Yard, dated 31 July 1871.  This scan shows the ship's boat stowage as part of the outboard profile view and a plan (overhead) view of the main deck, and boat stowage.
 
The original scan was obtained from the US National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Maryland.
